[Archived] Osu! lags and glitches when I play now...

Problem Details: My game lags whenever I play a beatmap and the audio glitches... It told me that there was an error during timing calculations, and tells me to update my audio/sound card drivers but I don't know how... This has only happened recently and I don't know how to fix it.

What's your computer's specs? When did it start? Did anything do updates before this happened? Did you install new hardware recently?

you probably wish to turn off any application that is likely to create a high CPU load or IO activity, for example, your web browser (I am not joking). but that's just my 2¢

I'm pretty sure this has happened to me before... a LOT(and is still occuring now). But it ONLY happens in Multi for me and the notification ONLY shows up once I get to the Waiting for all players to finish screen. Not sure if players who were in the same MP with me received the same notification.
