Is it okay to mod >5* 4k maps as a 5 digit?

My comfort zone stops beyond 4.5* and whenever there are jacks in the map. I'm new to mapping too, so I'm worried if I make a bad mod :<

I'm sure that every modder has felt this way at the beginning, this feeling will go away with more experience.

If you don't feel like modding anything above a certain difficulty/star rating, that is ok.
You can mod what you feel comfortable with until you're ready to move up a step.
