mine has gotta be either pika girl - s3rl, you're gonna go far, kid - the offspring, or wolf in sheep's clothing - set it off, those make me look back on the days of old AMVs and other things along those lines... man i love those songs...
I used to have a recording of this video on a CD and played it all the time along with some other songs. I'd just watched all of the music videos in a trance.

plethora of classical music would also fit the bill. On the other hand despite my metal interests, I wouldn't say there's a lot of particularly nostalgic pieces in memory. Probably because the feeling in many metal songs (and in most of the ones from those older times in particular) do not match well with nostalgic feelings in my opinion. Maybe some pieces like Hallowed be Thy Name or such
