Try running the updater again. It sounds like you don't have all the DLLs required (these should be downloaded automatically).

I did multiple times it doesn't seem to work I'll try more I guess
Could you provide a screenshot of the full error message?
Edit: Also try deleting the file Microsoft.Xna.Framework.dll from your game directory and *then* updating again. It could be corrupt.

I believe the error might be this, which I got:
It turns out, it decided to use my Microsoft XNA Game Studio Express DLL, rather than the one in the Osu! directory. And seeing that I didn't have 1.0 Refresh, but rather 1.0, it errored out on me.
Solution that worked: Upgrade to MS XNA GS Express 1.0 Refresh.
