The best way to avoid mindblock is to quit the game altogether! I've been abstaining for years now and it's going really great.

pass the map or no balls. (and stop playing harumachi clover lol (or any map that is 1:30 or lower))

More of a life advice. Quitting osu is like quitting an addiction (they're probably the same), your life would be better without it.

It sounds like you think that ALL OSU PLAYERS are addicted to osu or something

Addiction is only for people who want to set themselves one or several goals on osu.

I don't consider myself addicted to osu! even though I play it like a lot. But unlike addiction, if I want to quit I can just quit easily

Yeah at least you have control over yourself and not get addicted. Too many players get the addiction and always come back when they say they quit from the game.

If you have nothing to prove or no goals on osu, no addiction. Simple.

That's not necessarily the case. Someone could just try a single smoke without any reason and they'd still get a smoking addiction.

Someone who smokes does this because of the nicotine effect which is a stimulant dr*g, while the osu player plays the game for the dopamine effect (to feel happy after completing something basically).

But if an osu player is already feeling the dopamine effect on other activities, does that mean he must also be addict to the game? No way.
