i just cant rank up does anyone know a way to rank up to combat this?

idk I've been hardstuck forever now, too.

What I've done in the past is usually just play maps for improvement, and eventually they become easy to FC/Acc. Make sure you're playing a variety of maps, and always aim to learn something from them and improve your previous scores in one way or another (better acc, combo, or something specific like trying to read a pattern better or work on your technique in a certain map). It's good to play stuff slightly out of your comfort zone, but also playing maps that you know you can easily FC is good to build consistency and help with playing with nerves (if that's a problem you have)

You will always have rank plateau, there's really nothing you can do about that, but as long as you keep practicing and playing as much as you can, you will eventually find a lot of maps easy to FC and gain some ranks.

playing too hard maps and not trying to actually improve and just only enjoying game probably will make you a really slow improver. People say enjoy the game all the time but if you want to improve thats just not true lol. You really have to grind the game and grind some scores. Thats how top players improve. Though by grinding scores i dont mean just retry spamming lmao. You have to put in the effort i guess.

Like for example every time i always played like only sightreading and never trying to grind some scores i didnt improve. But at the same time there was also times all i did was just only retry spam to farm and that also didnt improve me. In my opinion playing maps fully but also giving the effort to improve your older scores is the best way. And no need to force yourself if you still cant improve your scores after like 4-5 tries or so. Just try it later

Ive been doing this for the past week offline and i have to confess... its all true
i grinded a beatmap that 12-15 days ago i barely got B ranks, or C ranks with poor acc, now the map is much easier for me

could be wrong there, but, i think the reason that me and others guys are so slow is because we have a "shitty intuition" for everything, literally need a "crutch" or a "teacher" to guide to play a simple game... idk how to play, idk what i need to play, idk if what im doing is alright, idk what skillset i need to grind, etc. this is the reason why i choose to play for fun and enjoy the game and copy the gamestyle of my fav streamers, i dont wanna get overthinking a circle game , per example, in the past i spent 18.000 playcount in low 3* range thinking that i was suddenly going to be very good at high stars map... aaand all i got is a fucking mindblocked nerve above my control from trying to SS or 99% every 3* low stars map, every choke soundeffect, 100 or sliderbreak it was a stab in my heart.

But in truth, i will never know the real reason to be soo slow.

Just want to insert my thoughts, short jump maps are still somewhat meta despite many players believing jump maps are now underweighted. In fact you can still hit 4 digit with all or mostly short jump maps +(HD)DT.

But lets get into the definition of a farmer. What is a farmer? That question can vary depending on who you ask, some will say playing/retry spamming short jump maps that are worth a lot of PP for the person playing the maps. Others will say it's when players play maps that play into their specific skillset. You would never think of something like EZDT being farmable, but it very much is to a player like EZChamp (until like 600-700PP which is like the soft cap for most doable current EZDT scores). Is it ok to be a farmer, yes as long as you're having fun.

Now how would you get out of being hardstuck? I really wouldn't know because I've been around the same rank for over a year. But you are not hardstuck, you have made many top plays within the last month/2 months not to mention this month you haven't even played 1,000 times which means you only played around 26 times a day this month, in my opinion you'll want at least 100 plays a day for "maximum" improvement. Looking at your profile you don't have any recent plays which leads me to believe you either retry spam or quit after missing (bad habits that I still do sometimes). In conclusion... play more and start playing maps all the way through.

(osu-pps is accurate and is updated with newly ranked maps fairly regularly, I don't know the exact math formula(I'm extremely tired while typing this), but it appears that it takes into account some actual scores from the map leaderboards and spits out a PP value of getting an FC with 99-100% accuracy).

Now you may be asking why did I type of this just it to likely not be read? I was tired and bored, there's probably a lot of grammatical mistakes.

Even though I’m a lower rank then you what I have noticed is to take breaks I usually grind scores for like 1-3 weeks and then take a break for like a month. Doesn’t mean you have you should take a break for a month💀 but I think that helps so you don’t burn out.
Another thing you can do is play longer maps instead of farming I’ve been starting to do that, they usually give more pp then sotarks 1-2 jumps and feel more rewarding. Maps you can try are diamond and M flat.
I’ve also been experimenting with three mod but sometimes if you play to much it will mess up your reading it also pushes you to try get better acc since one 100 will make you lose like 1% acc that’s all I have to say

How can you be hard stuck at rank 450k it’s probably that your overranked because I can see that you have 166 hours of play time and you are just playing easy maps for like +4 raw pp obviously this can’t be applied to everyone but a rank 450k should be a able to fc a nomod 4*

The guy is actually a mixed bag though. Last time I checked he was actually getting coached by a guy on our discord server but in the end it lookes like he nitpicked the advice he was given lmao.
