5THC is an international 3v3 TS6 tournament. It features touhou-only pools* and anyone from rank 10k or below can join.
*we may swap out a few categories with non-touhou maps if absolutely necessary
All players must be in the discord server by the time registration ends. If you were screened, you may appeal it.
Standard BWS {rank^(0.9937^(badges^2))} will be applied.
After registrations close, absolutely nobody else is allowed to join the tournament.
PROCEDURES
QUALS PROCEDURE:
Each team will play through a designated qualifiers mappool. They start from NM1 and end at DT3. Referees MAY play in the qualifiers lobby if they wish. If 2 or more teams schedule the same lobby, put them into the same match (obvious).
MATCH PROCEDURE:
Referees will create a match 15 minutes before it is supposed to start. They will invite captains (or a player on the same team) and the captain’s job is do invite everybody. There will be a fair amount of leniency, but if less than 3 people are able to show up, they must reschedule or forfeit.
After everyone joins, each team bans/protects 1 map (from RO32 to SF). From Finals to GF, each team gets 2 bans and one protect. If you wish, you may trade as many bans as you want for protects. The ban order is ABBAAB. The teams have 90 seconds for each ban/protect, until it goes to the next team (doesn’t affect future ban/protects)

FM Rules
Every team must have 1 HD/EZ player, and one HR/HDHR player. 3rd can do whatever
EZ multiplier is 1.8x (except for EZ1)
Hidden preference mod is available on HR and DT, but your score will be divided by 1.08 to compensate (meaning you lose score). On FM your score will be divided by only 1.06 so you should still have standard HR only mutiplier.
If you want you can add HD on EZ1 as well but it will also be divided to compensate.
RO32 to RO16 will be BO11
QF to Finals will be BO13
Grand Finals will be BO15
June 9 - registration ends
June 9 - June 14: Screening and Quals pool
June 16 - 19: Quals
June 23 - 26: RO32
June 30 - July 3: RO16
July 7 - July 10: QF
July 14 - July 17: SF
July 21 - July 24: Finals
July 28 - July 31: GF
If we don't get enough signups for an RO32 we may skip directly to RO16 instead.
