So... can't afford to buy a tablet or you're a trackpad main? NO FEAR, I AM HERE!!!

Get those pens with the rubbery stylus at the top/end of the pen and drag it across your trackpad. Works like a CHARM! The angle is kind of weird depending on the pen and sometimes certain pens have a lot of grip and makes the cursor movement unreliable but for the two seperate pens that I've experimented with it works perfectly fine!! I even got a PR on a random map I played for the fun of it. 9/10, abandoning mouse <3

Give it a try folks!

the reason why people play tablets isnt because it has pen. its because it has absolute positioning. If mouse had absolute positioning i bet no one would play with tablet

and yes it is kind of DIY mouse but not only can you use it on the trackpad but on the screen too if your laptop is touchscreen like mine

ngl I think it wouldn't work since usually most trackpads are really small so it's really uncomfortable to play with, and if you're already playing with touchscreen then wouldn't it lose it's unique purpose?

idk my touchscreen can be a bit picky (or at least all the ones I've used) and most trackpads I've played with were big enough but you do have a point! I think again it's just an alternative if you want something new and/or possibly a way to play temporarily!!

Most trackpads actually have absolute position under the hood, and some software lets you use that absolute position for osu!.
Also yoo another touchscreen player

I'd personally recommend that playstyle for those with the really big trackpads but it's ultimately up to the player's decision to follow through it. Good luck playing that way though!
