question about overwrites

if i play with nofail on and manage to FC a map, will it still overwrite the pp despite not being my highest ranked score? i had this happen https://imgbox.com/nbGQB4Hj , and i have a lot of choked scores like the one i used to have on that map that id like to improve someday, but id rather not get punished for trying. sorry if this is a common question i couldnt think of how to phrase a search for it

- If you get a better score than your previous score but with worse accuracy (both NM), you will loose PP

- If you play NF and FC the map, you will gain the same amount of pp as if you play NM even though the score is worse

- If your NM play has a better score but worse PP than your NF play, the NF score will be displayed in your top plays, but not in the map's leaderboard

Yeah you'll still get pp for it because it's a different mod even if it is less score

Yup.

My personal opinion is that the best way to fix this is to just SS the map, but idk how likely you are of doing that. That being said, the map acc suggests a very low 100 count (probly 3 or less, or missed slider-ends), so you'd likely have to SS it anyways.

Yup.

The best option is always to SS the map, no need to put NF or something.
