I feel like osu! lacks a singleplayer experience that challenges a player for more than just one map at a time, so here's a idea for how I recently tried doing it:
- Go to a random number generator and roll numbers in between 1 and 4.000.000
- Put those numbers in the url: osu.ppy.sh/beatmaps/(number)
- Download those maps and chose the mod ScoreV2 with any other mod you want (including ONLY 2 usages of No Fail)
- YOU ONLY GET 1 ATTEMPT PER MAP! If you fail, your score for that map is 0
- Repeat until you have 5 total scores
- Add up the scores for a final score of your performance
There should be more rules to it (like score multipliers for map difficulty, maybe a lives system and mod usage), but I just wanted to put this concept out! Will make a video about it probably as well :p
Also, urls can sometimes not worked (because beatmaps often get deleted) so far that, you reroll
And if the map is for another gamemode (the one you aren't playing for the challenge), you reroll
