Insane difficulty

00:05:809 (1) - It will feel better to play if you put the first note in a horizontal position to the first slider do to how the slider is curved. (subjective opinnion)
The distance spacing on this note is 0,6, sliders 0,9-1 just to change to 0,8 later in the same color combo.

I suggest you use distance spacing 0,9 because it look better later too. The edges on the single notes cross the edge of the slider slightly if you use any lower.



00:11:118 (4) - Again the note cross the sliders edge a bit.

00:17:121 (2) - Same thing with these sliders, their edges cross each other, some space and 0,9 makes them look better.


About the storyboard. It might be because of the high brightness of my monitor but my eyes get quite strained watching this. Might want to consider tuning it down a bit.


The easy and normal diff was cool, cant think of anything there. All the maps was easy to read and makes sense. Not much of a mod but thats my thought while playing your map.

this will be my first time modding, so if i screw something up majorly with the timestamps or something, sorry :P

overall things:

- slider tick rate seems too fast. for the insane difficulty it's not a big deal, but there's unnecessarily high combos for the other difficulties considering the amount of notes (should just be set to 1).

- BPM is off by a tiny bit. it's noticeable near the end of the song and definitely needs some changing.

- i don't know much about storyboards, but this one was pretty distracting on the easy and normal difficulties due to their not matching with the ingame beats. on insane it matches with the notes so it's fine. this may be acceptable though, as "i don't know much about storyboards." it also lasts for 17 seconds after the final note, which is a painful wait. i'd consider starting the transition to the "thanks for playing" right after the last note hits

00:30:049 (1,2) - on easier maps i've noticed that it's better to avoid overlapping notes. new players often can't read stuff like that very well

00:57:752 (3) - same thing^

01:12:527 (3) - ^

01:01:445 (1) - slider shape is unappealing and repeats many times. the best thing i can say is to make something less... abnormal i guess. i won't list all the instances of it

00:11:003 (2) - another odd slider shape. doesn't look good :/

00:14:350 (3) - should be placed a half tick earlier and lengthened accordingly

00:29:356 (1) - i'd consider putting that a little higher up. it's pretty low and would be out of place to inexperienced players


insane

00:53:596 (1,2,3) - make it so that these notes are countable without just seeing the approach circles. players who don't have low opacity skins can't see the numbers, so they'd have no easy way of judging how many notes there are. just space them out a bit - enough to tell that there's multiple notes.

Should be just .hack//LINK for the source.. without the : in the middle. (Also, you may want to use Link instead of LINK? I'm not entirely sure on this one. The logo and everything uses lower-cases)

I believe you should use Toki no Kaidan as the title because on the back of the CD (Track 13) | http://www.rpgfan.com/soundtracks/hack- ... kcover.jpg and http://www.hack.channel.or.jp/link/popup_ost.html | it is listed as "時の階段." There isn't an official name for an English title to the track since the game and song has only been available in Japan so far, meaning all translations are just made up and not from an official source. (yes, even VGMDB is wrong in this case for translating something they shouldn't have)

You can still add stuff like Stairs/Stairway of Time to the tags if you want (Since there isn't an official translation, it could be either Stairs or Stairway). Also consider adding 黄昏の騎士団 Tasogare no Kishidan Twilight Knights to the tags as it is part of the title in the manga the game is based off of.

Don't really think this is KD worthy.. Was just looking through some songs when I came across this. Good luck.

Also.. that SB is blinding.. like really overboard. could use some serious toning down XD

There are lots of Awkward gaps in this Difficulty. Try Filling them in! (unless they are still WIP)

your map need further work,so i will give you some suggestions

Easy
in easy and normal,open the distance snap,make sure objects have same spacing
00:37:031 (1) - for example,this one,have a spacing

it is a terrible jump in easy,which is too hard for newbie.
you should choose a general spacing ad resnap all the objects
01:01:493 (1) - avoid overlap in easy,it is hard to understand for newbie
01:03:339 (1,1) - when doing a blanket,turn off the grid snap,ctrl + left click to add anchor

actually your map is far from a ranked one..so there is a big change and improvement waiting for you
I think the main problem you need to solve is some basal arrangement problems
