im worried that constantly playing osu will destroy the current keybinds i use (2 and 3) so im thinking of changing them. is this good or am i too paranoid?

1st question: The total hits counter can be a good estimation so you can use it as a reference.

2nd question: For someone who has 9 million taps on mania, my caps look far from breaking. They just look a little worn down but it's fine.

My keybinds for my laptop for osu is just the default z and x but I mainly tap the x key harder and slighly more cuz i tap with my middle finger first. Anyway you might need replacement laptop keys eventually since my x key is dented inwards and a bit broken to the point you can hardly see the letter x. Also the keys you tap with tend to get alot softer and weaker over time which makes it easier to press which actually made me stream faster but also doubletap a lot by accident and cause me to miss lol.

From my personal experience, I think you should consider using another keyboard to play osu.

Laptops have more fragile keycaps. I broke one of my old laptop keycaps like that. I never tried to replace it, but it's probably more painful to do than anything.
From what I've seen, a keycap won't suddenly break. Instead, it usually shows signs of weakness before actually breaking off. And it also probably depends on the quality of your laptop keycaps, although I think it is still better to play with a keyboard that you're not scared to damage or a keyboard that you know is stronger than steel.

That's all I can think about :)
