I think there's a tutorial you can play there. You can start playing the easy stuff if you aren't skilled enough or tire easily.

Also nevermind the cracked players. They're cracked for a reason.

I know beatmania, stepmania, dance dance revolution and taiko no tatsujin

The rest I have no idea

I usually play stuff like CHUNITHM, maimai, Sound Voltex, IIDX and a bit of Taiko. If you want to find games like CHUNITHM, maimai or Taiko in Sydney, just go to Timezone since most of them that I go to have those games. For Sound Voltex, go to Purikura Photoland, Timezone Haymarket or two of the KOKO amusement centres around that area. For IIDX, the only place to go is in Purikura at Capitol Theatre.

You can play most of those on PC. I will list some simulators for them below:
For CHUNITHM:
- Seaurchin (dead)
- UMIGURI (can't really find it anywhere but it's pretty good ngl)
CHUNITHM doesn't really have many simulators at all and the controller for it is like $300 AUD iirc and a lot of arcades have cabinets that have been updated so honestly just go to the arcade.

For IIDX:
- beatmania IIDX Infinitas (Official PC version and requires a subscription)
- Lunatic Rave 2
- beatoraja
- Few others that I can't be bothered to list down.

For Taiko:
- TJAPlayer3
- OpenTaiko
- taiko.bui.pm (was shut down due to copyright)

For SDVX:
- SOUND VOLTEX EXCEED GEAR (Official PC port and apparently, some songs need to be bought)
- unnamed sdvx clone
- K-SHOOT MANIA
Neigdoig
DDR is actually good, but specifically the earlier games (I'm thinking more like ITG before it was shut down unlawfully by Konami). You'll want to play something like Stepmania 5.1b2, NotITG, OpenITG, or ITGMania.

Yeahhh I don't think most arcade games can be fitted in with headphones, much so be suitable for the games themselves.

True, it’s not like the game has like 8d audio built in

i know Pump It Up (I don't have my own card because it's hard to find) before maimai, and yeah, I have my own maimai account. I mean~

but I am not really active because I have to go to my mall I guess
npc_BeaniCraft
Taiko no Tatsujin and Project DIVA.
lostsilver
this prob doesnt count but since i'm into creepypastas i leaned about evil otto and polybuis
rumours:
otto
"The Curse Of Evil Otto", if you will. he presumably comes from a game known as "Berserk" which is infamous for causing the death of a player. it's said in 1982 an anonymous(?) young man died from a heart attack after getting a high score on the machine. the legend says that Otto didn't just kill him in the game, but finished him off in real life, which is why people call him "Evil Otto". pretty cool story if you ask me!
polybuis
not much is known about Polybuis. it's said in 1981 it started appearing in arcades, and was very addictive. it would make players sick, but they couldn't stop playing. and every once in a while, men in black suits would show up and take the data from the machine. it's speculated that the men in black suits were government agents. nobody can find a physical machine, however.
and here are videos!
