I feel like every top players who have tried Wooting say that Wooting is the best keyboard for osu!, so I'm wondering if there is anyone who have tried using Wooting and doesn't like it. So far the only one that I can find is lolol233.

It's just crazy that a few years ago, the general consensus is that keyboard for osu! are preferences, but now it really seems like there is a best keyboard for osu!.

Wooting is not necessary. Of course it removes the notelock so you can combo game more easily but you also need to get used to the rapid trigger. I have no idea how it works but basically you just don't need one to git gud at osu lol

I remember khz and btmc trying and not liking the wooting because it messed with their technique or something, but I'm not entirely sure.

i would try wooting though cuz of the "rapid trigger" thing

I swear these top players are acting like the rapid trigger is a revolutionary thing or something. Whether it's true or not, of course noob osu players will want to buy the wooting keyboard even if it's not necessary for them. I think it's best to just try a wooting keypad at a low price to see if it's really worth it.

Yeah! It looks pretty good to buy a wooting keypad instead of a big wooting keyboard that you don't know if you'll really use it in the future. Fun fact: the wooting uwu is not the cheapest. They're keypads with rapid trigger cheaper like this one (35USD). Btw I don't know the cheapest of them but I saw that there were some that cost less than 20USD in the recent video of BTMC.

ngl is pretty much is. It removes a good portion of difficulty in exchange for getting used to it. It's like tablets, those noob osu players would also buy them. But since they are like tablets, it could be purely preference for some.

well after watching BTMC i think im changing my mind into buying a wooting someday. it's aesthetic looks great and beautiful but it does not improve your performance that great. like the rapid trigger feature is like no fail but your acc is crappy af. but it is great for speed and no more notelock. but overall im kinda mixed with it

Well that's the thing. It could still be preference, but so far the reception that I've seen is that Wooting and/or other rapid trigger keypads are so much better than than mechanical keyboards. That's why I'm kinda curious if there is anyone who prefer mech keyboards to Wooting. Aside from lolol233 mentioned in OP, I couldn't find anyone else (granted, I don't really dig too deep about this)
