HIIIII, I want to suggest adding a mode for DDR(play by foot) in Osu!

Before anything else, I just want to say that I ALWAYS love this game <3.

I have been playing OSU for about 12 years and today, I found my DDR pad.
I would like to suggest adding a mode for DDR in OSU.
I have already played the mania mode, but I found it quite different from the original DDR game.
The mania mode does not have a rest and requires constantly stepping on two or more arrows, making it very difficult for foot play.
When the third arrow appeared, I almost gave up.

Therefore, I believe it would be a great idea to open this new gate for DDR in OSU. Thank you for considering my suggestion.

ohhh! maybe i figure out some new way!
it just need to cancel damage of unhold long bottom,
hole game will become great(for playing by foot)!

I don't think this is necessary. You can recreate the DDR feel via skin, and for the maps/stepcharts you can find some index maps in osu!, or rather making one. I only remember this index ranked map, but there should be more than I can remember.

Probably you can fork osu! lazer code to your own version and make ruleset to recreate the DDR feel, including hold note handling and HP system. The dance mode is probably not in line with osu!mania base design, so I don't think it will be implemented anytime.
