[Archived] osu! crashing while streaming

Problem details: osu! uses an awful % of CPU when alt tabbing, then by some chance my displays go black for a few seconds then osu! crashes. This problem only happens while OBS is open (My OBS is updated to the latest version, so outdated OBS is not a possible problem). I tried restarting my PC, closing all programs that could have overlays with osu! (Steam, Discord, NVIDIA Shadowplay) but still not working.
It even happens if I try to change the Game Capture to Window and Display Capture iirc.
OS is Windows 10

This was a near-crash, but I captured an event which said:

The NVIDIA OpenGL driver has encountered
an out of memory error. This application might
behave inconsistently and fail.
(pid=5876 osu!.exe 32bit)

This one was a crash:

Unable to recover from a kernel exception. The application must close.


Error code: 3 (subcode 2)
(pid=14072 tid=7012 osu!.exe 32bit)

Just because they are up-to-date doesnt mean that they arent somewhat broken, if you can do a clean install of the drivers and update + since it is saying it is out of memory, it seems that you are running out of memory.

Have you recently changed skins to something, or does this happen with the default skin?

It does not matter with the skin. Yesterday I did a clean driver reinstall with DDU, I haven't tried it out yet. My GPU has 4GB memory, and 16GB RAM so I don't think that should be a big of an issue. I use my own skin though. I will try out with the same skin first, and then later if it does not work, then with the default or another skin.


After trying out:
Tried with both my skin, WhiteCat 1.0 skin and default skin. All of them crashed my game. It only happens with osu! and not with other games and only when OBS is open. I don't have any overlays over osu!, no Shadowplay, no Steam etc. only the Game Capture in OBS.
