default ZX. good spacing from the mouse, and its the least used letters to destroy with your tapping
Depends on your preference
I used almost every keybind possible on my keyboard (AZERTY), and I can say with confidence that the top row is the best for me. Preferably on the right side, but anywhere at the top works.

There is no exactly best keybind. It's basically based on your preference. Like me, ZX for example. Also in taiko I use KDDK, which is the default (sorry for mentioning other game modes).
You mean the best one for you, or the most popular keybinds?

I use CV right now and for me it is very good
I use FG for two reasons:
- It feels softer to press than the keys on the bottom row of my keyboard
- FGsky

it likely matters very little and the small differences that do exist will depend on your keyboard. there is no right answer we can give you.

I used to press q and w but now move it up to 1 and 2. With how my laptop and my hand the way they are, it's the most comfortable. And this way, I don't destroy another keystroke that will be important for typing from now on

Me personally, for standard I like GH since you can use it left handed or right handed pretty comfortably (at least with my 60% keyboard, not sure how it would feel on a 100%)
However for mania, I like ZX,.

For std, its DF. But for mania its kinda unique, i use AS ;' cuz DF JK is too close for me
Personally on standard, I use numpad 6 and numpad 3, since it allows me to rest my arm on the table while tapping. (prevents weird elbow pain)
On mania though it's just the ol' reliable, DFJK.
If you wanna get really weird though, my keybinds on ctb are z for dashing, and left and right mouse for movement. (I suppose it doesn't really count since I barely play catch anyways)
