[Archived] Possible problems due to a new account

Problem details: I thought that I could change my nickname to the one I use now, but it turned out that I don’t have a free opportunity for the first change, and I don’t have money to buy support and change it. I thought that I would just create a new account and that's it, but I was warned that there was a risk of getting banned. What do you think, is it worth putting up with such a nickname or take a chance and make a new account?

If the name is in violation or can be used to obstruct your privacy you can contact accounts@ppy.sh explaining the situation and they’ll help you the best they can.

You can buy supporter (4.99USD) for the free name change on top of it, or you can purchase the name change separately.

Remember, you have a 1 account allowance, if you make more you definitely risk the chance of that account being removed.
