Save spoiler boxes for spoilers please. Not for important information such as, but not limited to:
  1. bug reports
  2. system information
  3. mod posts
  4. changelogs
Any more to add to the list?

Please stop misusing them. It's really annoying having to click to read stuff.

Might I add that using spoiler boxes for high resolution images is encouraged, and it means people who do not wish to load them do not have to. Maybe we need a second "imagebox" or something to distinguish ;p.

I guess I don't really see the problem. Looks to me like you're just looking for something to complain about. I think the spoiler tag has many uses.

Also, I think we can all agree that really tiny text has no uses

I'm pretty sure this is in the wrong forum.
Also, I rarely see people "misuse" the spoiler tag, so it doesn't really bother me. Tiny text can be pretty annoying, though.

For people that update their beatmap OP with every. single. update. (Yes, I'm guilty of doing that for my first map), I think the spoiler box works nicely so that one doesn't have to scroll down 50 lines to get to the next post. Yes, I think they're stupid for bug reports and mod posts and such, but they still have their uses. :D

We should just allow you to chose the text the spoilerbox displays.
Also, this would help tons in threads like the "Good free games" thread, so you don't have to look through GIANT WALL and the name of the game doesn't have to go over spoiler boxes.

I think one-line spoiler boxes should be banned. Use an inline spoiler instead.

A spoiler box (or inline spoiler) is for stuff a reader does not have to read to gather an adequate amount of information to fully understand the post.

It's a convenience not to have to scroll down a page or two to get down the page.
Whether it's a lot of difficulties, or even only one-ish.
