Is there any case that a mapper used a currently trending song and changing the mp3 to a song they actually wanted to rank after they get noticed enough by the community?

I mean at least one person have tried that right?

Yes it has happened at least a few times before by semi-popular mappers. beatmapsets/1514140#osu/3956686 is one example, although if anyone here remembers the more famous examples I'd love to see them.
