after disqualification

I haven't fully gone through ranking process yet and was wondering: if your map got disqualified, do you have to message BNs and ask to nominate your map again? (after dq issue is resolved of course)

Of course. You need to ask the same BN again for renomination process.

more accurately, while the map does need to be nominated again after a dq, you don't need to ask the same bns to do it

you will do that most of the time, sure, because bns usually don't just abandon you after a dq, but it just isn't accurate to say that it's something you need to do

I actually never know that you can ask different BN for renomination process.

Either way, you need to resolve the issue, either by accepting or refusinh the fix (and reasons too, when needed). Then BNs can renominate your map again.
