Are you supposed to look at the top of the screen where the fruits come from, the middle of the screen, or the character. I always here mania players say that you should look at where the notes come from and I was wondering whether it applied to ctb

Looking at the middle while focusing on both the character and fruits is the best thing to do.
I vary it slightly depending on the maps AR but usually around the combo numbers.
