Reasoning:
#1: Dahcreeper is by far, the fastest USA catch player. He has the best AR11 reading by far with the best mechanical skill. The best scores he sets are score v2 and are not obvious by looking at his rank. Great NM skill even though he plays with NF (Theme for Psychopath Justice by Kobaryo), [Chapter FINAL. EVIL, THE "EPILOGUS" (Count down 321)], and of course, Sendan Life (katagiri Bootleg) being his best leaderboard score. He can HR, no idea about HD but, I assume he can to a reasonable degree.
#2: Secre is the best HR player in the USA. He can play basically anything with HR and still out combo NM scores on converts and specifics alike. He is the most consistent DT player in the US, setting great DT scores that are very hard to beat. Great NM skill with scores like: Mei (Camellia's "Yomigae" Remix) by Amuro vs. Killer, and Kyouki Ranbu (extended ver.) by LeaF to name a few.
#3: [ Blake ] Honestly dude, I do not know much about you but just by looking at your top scores, I can tell you are an extremely strong player. Very good at HR, strong DT scores that are just in reach of DahCreeper and Secre, and good NM. Not sure if you can spin, not enough information to tell if you can play HD or not. All of this however doesn't dispute that your MOD skills are at a very high level.
#4: Lexii can play HD like it's NM, no matter if it's a hard technical specific, or a pixel-heavy convert that only a few crazy people would grind to set scores on. No doubt one of the best HD players in the game, i'd say between top 3 and top 5, depending on the day. Has great NM skill but chooses to only play HD. His HR skill pretty strong and can set some nice DT scores that are admirable. Lexii also has VERY STRONG spins, even with HD. Lexii also has very nice FL scores that maybe one other USA player can do.
#5: rostld is a very strong all around very strong player. Can play every mod at a sufficient level. Extremely strong NM player, including very obscure converts with hard jumps/wiggle patterns as well as very strong specific playing skill. The man can do it all. HD? Can do. HR? Can do. DT? as long as it is not a very high approach rate, can do. FL? Can do. Best spinning skill in the USA. Knows every single pattern, down to nuance pixel/platter placements that only a person that practices spinners can know.
#5: [ Blake ] Honestly dude, I do not know much about you but just by looking at your top scores, I can tell you are an extremely strong player. Probably would place higher if I watched you play. Very good at HR, strong DT scores that are just in reach of DahCreeper and Secre, and good NM. Not sure if you can spin, not enough information to tell if you can play HD or not. All of this however doesn't dispute that your MOD skills are at a very high level.
#6: Trent SS or bust. I can play Specifics at a proficient level with most of my best scores being unranked maps. My consistency is the best in the USA. I have great HR skill that isn't viewable due to HR being hard to SS, but I do have a few. My dt specific skill is good, setting 700s with Score V2 and high 600s and below with SS's. Second best Spinner in the USA with Endless Spinner being a great spinning score. My HD skill is still very high, probably 2nd best in USA. Some decent EZFL scores but nothing that no one else can't do.
#7: Edgar_Figaro grinds very hard and has great NM skill. Just needs to clean up some of the higher-star 1 misses and is clearly a force to be reckoned with. Good HDHR skill, no clue about DT since I do not see any. Not totally sure about HD but, I think he doesn't play it by itself normally.
Honestly, I have no idea about the 3 other spots. I had to include [ Blake ] in this list even though I know little about him as a player, but the rest, I do not feel like investigating because there's quite a gap in skill.
Honorable Mentions:
#1: Informous - Fastest improving USA ctb player by a landslide. (mark my words, dude will be atleast #100, maybe even 2 digit by the end of this year)
#2: 004 - will also be 2 digit player by the end of this year showing promising HR skills with good NM skill.
A final note:
It's fair to say that you may value a different skillset more than another, however, I feel that I have given at least an explanation as to why I put the places that I did. If you value raw NM skill, I would have placed myself or rostld's ranking a bit higher. If you value HD, maybe you think that Lexii is #1/#2. If you value HR more, then Secre and [ Blake ] would score higher on this list. However, I think what matters is that we all like to play the game the way we like to play it and just have fun.
With all this being said, everyone's list, (mine included) means nothing because of the skillset disparity that is pretty much incomparable in metrics. Scores alone do not justify a player's rank on any of these lists. Basically, I'm #1. Kappa
