question about double time in osu mania

is double time for pp farming or can you use it to learn to read dense fast paced patterns
and double dosent seem to make the song double as fast but how fast does it then make it ?

it makes the song 1.5x the speed which increases the amount of pp you can get if you're good enough so it's mostly used for that, dt isn't good for learning dense patterns as much as just fast jacky stuff with awkward transitions, it'll make you really good at speed but not patterns like handstream

as stated it's 1.5x rate pretty much. It CAN be used for pp farming but you can also play harder stuff. Double time doesn't always mean pp sometimes it's fake star rating so in summary both
