Add thumbnails manually

When you submit a song, a thumbnail is created automatically after a bit of time.
But that happens only if you chose a background for the map.
I have a storyboarded map in pending that has no thumbnail because it actually doesn't have a background.
So, is there a way to add a thumbnail by using a different image instead of the background?

even if your map has an SB it needs a background aswell. however it would be nice to add thumbnails manually because some of my thumbnails are wrong since i changed background after first upload :<

I didn't add a background because the whole SB is the background D:
I mean, that's just wasted space D:

Card N'FoRcE : if you set an image as your background, then use that image in the storyboard, it will be treated as the BG image for the song select preview and the thumbnail, but it will only appear in the parts of the map where the storyboard calls it. So that's something.

Conversely, if you felt like it, you could set an image as your background image, do a full submit, wait until it gets registered as a thumbnail, then delete it and resubmit without it :p

Finally, there is a thread on up.ppy.sh for thumbnails, where you can post a 160x120 jpg, with the filename in the form of the 4-digit setid, followed by a lowercase L. For example: http://up.ppy.sh/files/1283l.jpg Note that this only works for maps that don't have a thumbnail or a background image at all.

Gabi and WindII, let me know which maps you want the thumbnail image reset on, and I can do it. There's a button that BAT's can hit that will trigger the site to render a new thumbnail image from the map's current background.

Any of these options will take about 12 hours since the site only checks for new thumbnails once or twice a day.
