- This is an international, 2v2 osu!standard tournament with team sizes of 2 - 4 players rank #1 - 5,000 BWS.
Formula: BWS Rank = rank^(0.9937^(badges^2)) - All matches shall be played using Team VS, ScoreV1.
- The top 16 teams from qualifiers will move onto a double-elimination bracket stage and shall be seeded using power seeding (#1 vs #16, #2 vs #15, etc.)
- All scheduling will be done in UTC. Find your timezone along with conversions here.
- All reschedules must be submitted before 23:59 UTC, Friday the week a round is due to happen. Reschedules beyond that point will only be accepted on a case-by-case basis in extenuating circumstances.
- Captains are required to join the Discord for this tournament before the end of registration or else their registration is void.
- Staff are prohibited from playing in the tournament with the exception of streamers, commentators, and GFX artists.
- All players are expected to treat staff and other participants with a high level of respect. Any mistreatment or abuse in match or through Discord (this includes, but is not limited to: harassment, extreme toxicity, racism, ableism, sexism, homophobia, etc.) WILL NOT be tolerated. Sufficient punishment will be given accordingly.
- Where rules do not prevail, common sense shall. Administration has explicit discretion to apply their judgement on issues as they see fit.
Qualifiers Procedures:
- Qualifiers will be used to determine seeding for bracket stages.
- The mappool will consist of 8 maps (3 NM / 2 HR / 2 DT / 1 FM) and shall be played ONCE, starting from NM1 and ending in FM1.
- In order to keep lobbies running smoothly, 90 second timers shall be used between maps for players to ready up.
- If a team fails to join their lobby 5 minutes after the scheduled time, they may choose to play the maps they missed at the end of the lobby (with the referee's permission) or reschedule to another lobby.
- Following qualifiers, the top 16 teams will move onto a double-elimination bracket stage and shall be seeded using power seeding (#1 vs #16, #2 vs #15, etc.)
Match Procedures:
- A referee will create a lobby before the scheduled match time and invite the captains.
- Teams are expected to show up to matches on time. It is a team's responsibility to come prepared for the match. If a team comes unprepared, the referee may use their judgement as they see fit.
- If a team fails to join the match 5 minutes after the scheduled match time, they will lose their roll, protect, and bans.
- If a team fails to join the match 10 minutes from the scheduled match time, they will forfeit.
- There are no warmups.
- Captains will roll for picks and bans. The winner of the roll may choose pick order or protect/ban order. The loser will choose the remaining order. (Ban order and protect order are combined meaning if a player chooses to ban second, they also protect second.)
- Teams have 1 protected map each round. Protected maps cannot be banned but can be picked by either team.
- There are no restrictions on picks and bans.
- Teams have 2 bans during bracket stage. Ban system shall be ABAB.
- Due to the high difficulty of the pools, NF shall be enforced at all times.
- Teams will have 120 seconds for protects/bans, should they fail to choose one within that time, they will lose their protect/bans.
- Teams will have 120 seconds for picks, should they fail to choose one within that time, the pick will be randomly picked through the !roll command.
- Once a map is picked, teams will have 120 seconds to swap members and ready up. Once the timer is finished, the referee will force start the map.
- All maps must have one player with HD enabled in addition to the other required mods if applicable. The other player cannot have HD. This rule does not apply to FreeMod maps.
- FreeMod picks are exempt from the requirement and allow HD, HR, FL, and EZ in any combination. At least one player must take a mod. EZ will have a multiplier of 2x.
- Tiebreakers must be played with at least one player taking HD. The other player is allowed to take a mod if they wish to do so.
- In the event of a disconnection, an abort/replay may be called if it occurred within the first 30 seconds or 25% (whichever is shorter) of the map. Other than that, common sense will be applied. If proof exists of the disconnected player's score, it will be used. If it is at all ambiguous, the disconnected player’s score shall not be counted towards their team’s total score.
- Disconnections are considered to be unexpected, game-breaking events out of a player’s control (i.e. keyboard/tablet/mouse malfunction, system failure, internet disconnect, etc). Offset, background dim, leaderboard presence, etc. ARE NOT considered valid reasons to call for an abort/replay as players may fix these on their own time.
