Just as the title says. Since japanese characters in Source is allowed (as for any other character depending on the source), it's really difficult for people who can't read nonlatin letters to find the source, making it pointless.

^ Just a box below the Source with Romanised Source and that it works just like the other stuff. :p

Well, I personally see no reason for having that. Just think about it: We got the romanised Artist/Title on the Beatmap pages. While having the romanised (or original) source is less usefull. Well, as someone as argue with "you should google about the romanised name of the Anime if you're interested" - which is a damn stupid sentence - I am really unsure about this thingy at all.

However, if nothing changes about this it won't hurt to add it.

Unless you open the file in a text editor or go into edit mode to copy the characters, I'm pretty sure you can't really just google for it haha.

I think this is a really good idea. I already wondered about this but never think it troughly. I want to support this with infinite stars but I don't have any of them. orz

Also, you need to get out that beatmap link from your signature, since it is already ranked. /me runs

So we currently got two Maps which such Sources.. What will happens to them? I guess BATs and/or Admins could fix that, am I rite?

Shouldn't this fall onto a BATs responsibilities realistically?

Heck, you could even make it a set rule to follow for beatmaps.

IE. If a person cites the source in a Japanese writing style (kanji, katakana, hirigana or a combination) the Romanised title must be in the tags; and reverse as well.

B)Romanised Source: ARDY LIGHT FOOT -> Ardy Lightfoot
(When I map Videogames OST) - > https://osu.ppy.sh/s/237077
---------------------------------------------
C)Source: ニコニコ動画
C)Romanised Source: Nico Nico Douga
(just for the lulz)
