Something is happening that I just can't fix... In a beatmap I am working on right now, i am creating easy mode. I want the stars to be lower but they stay at 4.56! and the difficulty settings are all easy! This also makes it out of order since normal mode has fewer stars.

 Help!

If you're mapping an Easy, keep mapping. The settings of the map itself do play a factor, but getting more hit objects onto the map matters more.

Mapping to keep stars low requires a few things
  1. CS, AR, OD and HP should all be relatively low.
  2. Distance spacing should be 1x.
  3. You do have distance snap on, right?
  4. You should avoid having notes placed less than one quarter beat apart.
And like, if your Easy has 4.5 stars, you're doing something wrong.

I did not have distance snap on, but I will consider it in my later maps.

Consider it right now. Like, as early as possible. Remap if you have to.

If you don't have distance snap on, it won't be ranked. Like 100%.
