At the moment, you can only tell if someone is online by checking one of their posts- it doesn't show that on their profile page.
A simple update makes it convenient for users to see if someone's online by looking at their userpage, like so-
Obviously online status next to their posts wouldn't be removed or anything, this is just something extra for convenience's sake.
