When you play HD mode do you feel like you're playing better or worse (accuracy does not count unless its really bad)

My best score on extremely hard 4K maps are usually set with HD on but the ratio is just through the floor.
Worse, because I can't see without flashlight
playing hidden killed my ratio for a week after stopping i ain’t touching it again
playing with HD makes my ratio worse but the combo lasts longer so ig it's neutral
ratio usually suffers but sometimes hidden helps my reading
hidden is preferential mod and some players use it while others dont
IMO hidden would probably be more popular if it wasn’t for the gimmick of the bar getting longer the higher your combo.
Imagine if in standard you held a 500 combo and the circles would start to appear for only like 5 frames before disappearing, players would start malding immediately.
