Solving Motion Sickness Issues

Hi!

I decided to try Taiko mode for the first time about two months ago. During the one song I played, I got extremely severe motion sickness and stupidly tried to push through the song until completion.

Now I can't play regular Osu or most other games with lots of movement either without getting motion sick in just a few minutes, or even watch any movies where there is any sort of side panning.

My doctor could not help.

Did anybody else ever have this issue? Does it ever go away?

I think you have one of those is because of the scroll speed of kats and dons being a bit faster for you to catch up.
For now, you should try getting enough rest and calm mind.

It goes away, once I got sick from playing a cybepunk-type game (lot of colors and motion blur), for 3-4 days I got sick to the point of puking (I never had motion sickness before this day) and it suddenly stopped after a relaxing day at the park. rest and stop playing for a time period, you'll get better no worries.

From my experience, with video games it does go away after some weeks but it always came back when I stoped playing for a little while. (talking generally, not just osu!) Although I don't get severe motion sickness from taiko, just a bit dizzy

Never experienced motion sickness from playing mania, although I do when looking at a screen inside a moving vehicle

this is the ultimate test to see if you have motion sickness, never met a person who never felt sick while texting in a vehicle. probably a govt thing to sop driving and texting lmao

Thanks guys, happy to report that it is getting a little better, I can now play for around 30 minutes instead of just one song lol.

Hopefully things continue to improve!
