I was wandering if it is easier to play in 4:3 because i think the distance from notes at the ends of the sides is smaller. Is this true?

Playfield is always 4:3
16:9 / 16:10 only have bigger field for score / drain bars, and scroeboard, gameplay is STILL in 4:3.
I would call 16:9 to be actually better.

Anything bigger messes up my accuracy with my tablet.

Playfield is only affected by your screen height. Your aspect ratio only affects the placement of your HUD and backgrounds.
That being said, I have a 4:3 CRT as my main monitor and use a letterboxed 1600x900 fullscreen resolution (16:9 aspect ratio, obviously) since full screen reduces latency, but having true 4:3 (1600x1200) full screen on this beast is too big and goes beyond my field of vision.

My monitor is 16:9, but I play in 4:3. I think the better question is fullscreen or windowed. I pick windowed

It will change your mouse speed (if fullscreen) and change your overall tablet area if you adjust resolution.iderekmc wrote:

jk never tried this, dunno if it scales at all...
I've used 28:5 before (5040x900) but I can't recall exactly how well Taiko worked, but I don't recall it being a problem anyway...RaneFire wrote:

I remember Taiko notes beginning to fade in when I made the aspect ratio too wide. Can't recall if it happens at 21:9 though.
