Hello. I've got a skin that has nice art but I want to edit it so it matches the skin I am currently using. I managed to change the HitPosition value to match my other skin, but the visuals stay in the same place. I tried looking for help in the wiki and even in some discord servers but no success. Anyone got any idea how I can do this?
Thanks.

Hi!

Taken this quote from myself about a similar question:

Got to your osu! skin file and find all the images named "mania-key".
In total there should be six:

mania-key1
mania-key1D
mania-key2
mania-key2D
mania-keyS
mania-keySD

Along with "@2x" at the back, makes it twelve.

With these, head over to your image editing software and add a blank canvas below each of the mania-keys - this if you want the hitbox to be placed up from its origin.
This would need some trial and errors so it takes time to get what you want.

Example can be seen below - the more spacious the canvas below the hitbox, the higher it will be go from its origin (ignore the black box):

Be sure to rename the images accordingly to its origin and replace them.
And don't forget to refresh the skin afterwards by pressing "Shift", "Ctrl", "Alt" and "S" keys altogether.
