This came to mind as of 30 seconds before making this post and I'm unsure what the community would think, but my idea is Live Mapping.
A system for both Map Modding and Beatmap Creation that allows for real time creation and development of beatmaps by multiple people.
So say you have a collab beatmap being made by multiple people, and for the sake of the post, we'll say 5.
When the Original Mapper creates a map that is set for collab after finding the 4 others, inside the editor, there could be a checkbox of some sort that verifies the allowance of a Live Collaboration.
When the beatmap is submitted for WIP by the original mapper, they're given a secure link that the mapper sends to the collaborators. This would allow for no outside users that arent moderators or the collaborators, to mess up the map in turn.
The collaborators or Moderators download the map from the link, head into the editor to map or Mod the sections, and all are doing so in real time.
Each collaborator would be able to give ideas to others inside the editor, creating a space of non-singular work, but instead as a full group.
This implementation I'm sure would be immensely difficult, but would streamline collaboration maps in a way better than our current
(I could make a flowchart but phones are difficult ok)
