Now, I don't know if I'm the only one unlucky enough to have this problem but...
The Mouse Cursor...
It just keeps jumping around the entire place way too much!
I mean, when I first started playing I didn't really care, cuz the maps were slow so even if it went flying around everywhere, i'd just lift the mouse, put it back down, and its no longer wizzing around the screen, and I can go back to playing.
But Now, Since Im nearing the 2000th rank, i've been playin beatmaps where something like that is FATAL.
Its really happening way too much, like recently, I've been playing the map "Haruka Tomatsu - Koi no Uta [Alazy]" A LOT.
Its Fun, and its not hard.
I could easily get a Perfect Combo, maybe even 100%...but.
The Mouse. it starts flying all over the place at the worst possible moments. This one time I was SO close to the end, like another 40 beats and thats it, but BAM. The mosue flies, I miss 5 beats, then fail to get back on track, and I fail.
I nearly smashed my mouse to pieces in a blind rage.
Anyone else having this problem? And is there any way to fix it? Other than getting a ball mouse? Becouse I think those no longer exist.
Als, yes I've tried using mouse pads, darker ones that dont reflect the lazer.
Doesn't help.

1) New mouse
2) Piece of paper instead of mousepad
3) Suck less

Thats Just mean >< I dont suck.
I know its the mouse, cuz I dont think I can exactly go from the lower left corner all the way up to the upper right corner by just a 'slightly off' incident.
But anyway, thanks for the tips

Some laser mouses response better to black surfaces, so if your surface is whitish or any other color, it can act up some times, try getting a black mousepad or a black surface thing like yeah, a paper colored black.

Try adjusting your mouse sensitivity in the options menu?

I apologize for not reading this thread but I cannot help it that your Lithuanian flag is the most badass thing I've ever seen.

edit: fiiiiiine I read it. And I had the same problem as you for a while.

Get a small screw driver, remove the one or two screws on the bottom of your mouse, and disassemble the whole thing trying to keep a good idea of what you pulled out from where. If your mouse was anything like mine than it should be mildly disgusting under there (dust, animal hair, human hair, the likes.)

Get some bottled air or blow hard into some of the dirtier spots. Some parts of the mouse could probably be soaked in water and dried as well. Also, this may be dumb but Q-tipping the lens with maybe even just some water should do it pretty good too.

by the way paper mousepad sucks balls

1. clean mouse sensor
2. clean surface
3. set mouse sensitivity to 1.0
