okay.. so i do have someone wanting to map my w.i.p map, but it is a bit weird doing so as it seems to mess things up when they send me their difficulty, as in, it creates another folder in the songs folder. am i supposed to finish the map first before having the guy doing the GD? or can we both work on our difficulties at the same time

when someone works on a gd, they will be doing it on a seprate difficulty and they should be sending you a .osu file which you can put into the original song folder

so you tell me they should send me the osu and not osz file right?

edit: also, they should be taking the .osu file from their song's folder?

you can copy and paste the text/contents inside the .osu file, people who are making gds for you would probably either:

send you the .osu file (usually on discord)
put it in a spoiler box in the forums
put it in a pastebin

the .osu file is the one that is located in the song's folder right?
