GeneralAcross all diffs there are issues with blankets. I recommend that you go over every one and check if they're fine, and fix them if not. To tell whether a blanket is fine or not, go to a time where the objects approach circle borders the edge of the slidertrack. For example, here is a
bad blanket, it is bad because the approach circle doesn't perfectly border the edge of the slider track, so to fix this I will rearrange the notes so it looks like
this.
Normal00:13:909 (1,4) - Try to avoid having a slider end on the downbeat, otherwise it will be awkward to play because a strong, heavy note doesn't have a hit associated with them. Here's an alternative rhythm you could try:
This plays better because you're actually hitting the notes on their heaviest beats, unlike before where you were just sliding them across. Therefore, you have a stronger sense of rhythm across the beatmap.
00:19:007 (1) - Since this is merely a normal diff, I don't think beginners will be able to read this stack properly.
00:22:144 (3) - This slow, long, slider doesn't seem very fun to play. Do something with it, Add a curve or wiggle or something.
00:24:105 (2,3,4) - Stiff, blocky sets of sliders don't play too well either. Instead, you could try arranging them like this:
00:24:889 (3) - Same as my first suggestion, don't end the slider on a downbeat.
00:33:517 (2,3,4,5,6) - This pattern feels cluttered, generally because of how curved the sliders are. Curve 00:34:693 (5,6) - a bit less so that they are not overlapping with any notes.
00:52:733 (3,5) - Like my third suggestion, you could make these sliders look and play better by curving them or something.
00:58:027 (1,2) - This pattern plays really bad because because it's hard to read for a beginner (due to the overlapping slidertrack).
01:18:615 (4) - Beginners will have problems predicting how many repeats there are in this slider, so I recommend breaking it up into circles or other sliders.
Hard00:33:713 (4,5,6,7) - This square pattern really doesn't look good, so rearrange the notes so it looks like a perfect square.
00:51:556 (1) - Refer to my first suggestion of the normal diff, sliders shouldn't end on heavy downbeats.
01:04:497 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6) - This area has a few hitcircles overlapping slidertrails. To fix this I recommend rearranging the notes.
01:06:851 (4) - I find that this slider has too many whistles, so it sounds funny. I suggest removing a few of them.
01:12:340 (1,2,3) - Here we have another scenario where hitcircles partially overlap the slider track. I recommend fixing this.
01:13:909 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Remap this pattern, it's difficult to read and it looks bad.
The rest of the map plays fine.
Insane00:21:360 (1,1,1) - These look and play awkwardly. Why not just include them in the stack as well?
01:25:870 (6,8) - These two notes are overlapping themselves slightly. Please change this so that they are not.
01:36:654 (1,1,1) - Like the first suggestion of this diff, stack this as well for enhanced play and visuals.
That's all I could spot for insane.
Overall, it's a decent map, but some of the patterns definitely need to be polished for both visuals and playability. Good luck!
