What I mean by logo is the picture next to beatmaps, and when you click on said picture there is a sound sample. How do I add one of those sound samples and a logo? I submitted my WIP map and all it has is a grey osu symbol.

Add a Background Picture to your map by going to Design, clicking Insert Background, and then inserting a JPEG or PNG image from the browser pop-up.

Then, you either:
  • Standard Submit - Submitting a Map for the First Time or to Update existing maps
Full Submit - Re-submitting a map with Media changes or if some difficulties were added/removed.
Unless I am incorrect, once you submit a map for the first time WITHOUT a Background Image, you cannot make the grey osu! thumbnail change to a picture, even if you full submit your map with an image.

In a nutshell, you're out of luck.

EDIT: As for Sound Samples, you'll have to wait for a bit until the website will take a snippet of the audio and will apply that snippet as a sound sample for your map.

It takes time to generate the thumbnail, be patient.

From what I hear, it takes roughly 12 hours.
