Tunecore Japan for Metadata

A lot of Japanese artists use https://www.tunecore.co.jp/?via=158 for distribution and licensing, but I'm unsure if I should be using it as official reference for metadata. For example, I have a song at the moment that has no official romanization anywhere except for one on their Tunecore Japan profile. In this case, I don't know if it's just an automatic machine translation or an official one approved by the artist.

If you have questions about a specific song, feel free to share that song here and the community can help you out. As long as it meets the definition of primary metadata source, it can be used.

It's true that some translations of Japanese sources are low quality, possibly because of machine translation. Usually mappers will go with metadata that most accurately reflects the artist's intent in that case.

If multiple metadata options are available, priority should be given to the option which is most easily recognisable and traceable back to the original song or source. Official romanisations and translations are preferred for romanised fields so long as they are easily found and commonly recognised.
Personally I prioritize sources from the artists themselves, such as official websites like https://anime.idolypride.jp/music/ and https://www.tamurayukari.com/discography/list.php
