How do you address your mother?

I should have posted this during mother's day...

Anyway, I have a couple of friends who'd address their mother as ‘Mom’ or ‘Mum’ when they speak to their mother, or ‘mā’(for a very few).

I address to my mother in my indigenous language, ‘Mei’.(mɛɪ)

In Hindi, Mama means maternal uncle.

And I think you mean your country was colonised by the Spanish, and not of Spanish origin.
