Just started using a graphics tablet, could use some tips?

Hey all, my friend gave me his old graphics tablet because he hasn't used it in a while and it was just collecting dust. I have only played about 3+ hours with it and I'm having some problems with comfort and just just the grip. I guess I need to just get used to using it, but I haven't been getting much better results than when I just started using it. Just any hints and tips will help. I disabled mouse buttons and upped my sensitivity to 2.4 and I'm using http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wacom-Bamboo-Pe ... B002QC7F8A

You definitely need to:
1. Set your in-game sensitivity to 1.0x
2. Install the tablet drivers
3. Use the Pen Mode setting
4. Only use the area settings in the tablet preferences to change the sensitivity.

I also recommend setting your area to the biggest that you can comfortably use. Bigger area = greater precision.
