So i was browsing the forum here in search of any topics that pushed for integration with Valve's Steam client, but i didn't find any. There was mention of requests for a game timer similar to Steam's but not really Steam integration. I can launch OSU! from the Steam client, and even access the Steam overlay during gameplay, but not much more than that.
Why is this? I love the accessibility Steam offers, and having OSU! on Steam would provide a bunch of neat benefits. Such as indexed global play time and player count, all of Steam's multiplayer connections. Not to mention the publicity OSU! would receive from Steam's massive existing community. As well as anything else i'm forgetting to mention but could easily be seen by exploring the Client.
So is there a reason this isn't possible?
