They're probably based on how developed a country is.
Yeah, I think that is the way it goes. They might as well be looking at the living standards, health, HDI and etc to rank the countries but I am not sure at all about that as I never researched that myself.Stomiks wrote:

First world countries are more developed = a higher % of the population have computers, internet, and free time to use them = a higher % of the population will end up being osu! players = they will be overrepresented (or rather, third world countries are underrepresented due to the inverse) and thus have more top ranking players.
