Try enlarging the actual image size so it doesn't contact the edge.

Try decreasing the glow, the edge clipping is really ugly. The rest looks good tho.

the osu standard icon doesn't look as good. what about having the whole inside of the hitcircle filled up, with the "1" cut out

like that or something?
maybe make the 1 a bit bolder as well

At all nice :D But have some problems with graphic ._. you should do HD version xd or SD but with better quality :D Anyway good job :D Hope you fix that soon ^^
