Opinions on full-alternating tappers?

Having 500 hours of experience now with the tapping playstyle, I've realised that I am in a pretty cool minority of players who is capable of passing most maps (up to around 6.5* rating, not just jump-oriented farm) through this manner.

However I haven't really seen any top players (or just all in general) be highlighted or appreciated for being capable of fully alternate tapping, besides a couple of few -- Bubbleman, FlyingTuna, SiLVia (if you remember that name, you're a legend btw). Badeu is one of the greatest aim prodigies we know, and yet I think it's a crime he isn't best known for having the most accurate tap-alternating in the world. I don't know if it is just a matter of most players not really caring about how players tap, or the fact that the playstyle is indeed a minority and simply not understood fully (e.g. the rhythm sense required to alternate accurately on a variety of maps).

I would like some outsider opinions on players who are capable of this skillset and who push themselves each osu! session to reach tapping-hand perfectionism.

And also share yourself on this post if you ARE a dedicated full alt player, no matter if you're just starting off or a seasoned vet. I'll be sure to give you an "eye-test" by watching one of your replays.

NB: Just for some clarification on why I bring myself into this conversation, here is me passing the 6*-rated Pokemon Medley with 1:1 tap count. I made this play around a month ago IIRC.

I think it’s less so “appreciated” then it was back then. There’s really just more care and attention on just the result- “I almost fced”; “it was going to be 1000pp” etc.

If there’s really talk of it at all, it’s more to learn or break bpm thresholds they cannot normally do. These days DT is the norm; never used to be like that. That is to say, the majority of players can DT regardless of whether they alt or not

Not gonna lie, I'm impressed with people who can start 1/4 patterns with both fingers and still be very accurate on high difficulties.

Otherwise, it doesn't matter to me. Single tapping or alternating neither is more impressive for me to be praised for.

I used to do it back when I first started the game, was used to seeing 1:1 key ratio on almost all my plays. I was an inconsistent pass player with bad accuracy though. Had a few 7* passes like this.
Then I tried learning single tapping and eventually forgot how to full alt. I use a hybrid style now where I would just switch from single to alting at random places.
And yeah, it really isn't something to really be impressed by. It makes you think "oh neat" but that's about it, nothing to write home about.

Idk, as someone who alts since I first learned the keyboard could be used to click it really doesnt seem that special, just has some extra fingercontrol hurdles you need to get over to get the ocd 1:1 ratio and fast stuff isnt that tiring. Learning acc with this playstyle has been pain though, but its comfy for me so ill keep trucking

I can get that on most maps in my comfort zone, but as stuff gets faster I may come to a point where I start triples on the same finger or recently ive noticed my ring finger being heavy on my new higher actuation keyboard and giving extra inputs, which is something I need to fix, since its giving notelock issues and random 50's

Singletapping is more impressive to me because it requires more tapping speed and stamina.
Alternating makes maps way easier to play. IF you can alternate.

(I basically full-alt btw, reset with middle finger after breaks, and slow parts with several seconds inbetween hitobjects)

I've full alted my entire osu career, and I've never had any problems with finger control or my accuracy. The only thing is that now my stream speed is slow because I didn't build up single tap speed in lower star rating maps as a new player
