Think of it like subcategories:
Jack>chordjack>handjack
Where jack is the overall pattern type and chordjack is a specific form of jack patterns. This basically means that handjacks are a type of chordjack pattern that mainly uses hands (3 note chords).

a 3 note chord is called a hand so it just means a 3-note chord jack, it's just specifying the type of chordjack p much
Chordjack is dense jack pattern.
