I reset after 31 days with only 273 chips. After five days I've already made far more progress than my first run got. Heavenly chips are worth it.senaya wrote:

Am I the only one here who doesn't understand how the chips work? I reset a while ago to get 159 chips, so it says my production multiplier should be increased by 318%. Ignoring these new upgrades my overall multiplier was something like 2100% before reset, but it went way over 3000% when I reset, increasing my 20'000'000'000 Cps to something around 30'000'000'000 with the 159 chips (a lot better than what I thought anyway). And whenever I bought one of those '+15% income' cookies my overall income percentage went up by something between 80-100%, can't remember exactly, but it didn't match the chip multiplier nor anything else that made any sense to me. Someone help .-.
Currently at 38b CpS 6 days after I reset with only 159 chips, probably going to reset once more (to 260 chips) before I go for the 100th condenser. Decided to quit the non-reset game since this one is already way ahead even though I've played this 5x less.

They're getting nerfed to be half as good in the next patch, so you should make as many cookies as possible before you update. Perhaps try getting over double the current amount of heavenly chips before resetting!

im not sure if i should be disappointed in myself for wasting so much time with this. i have 3 achievements left to get before i perfect this game (before the next big update), and i'm itching to grab them all. The worst part is, I can't save up. I keep upgrading my smaller cookie makers instead of saving up for antimatters.
I think getting all achievements without using the Cookie Monster will take forever. It's almost cheating, but God those free cookies I can't give it up.

there's also a hidden achievement for getting a billion cookies or something without clicking once.

Nah, I haven't used Cookie Monster at all and I am only missing 777 golden cookies. And I only need about ~220.
Yeah, I got the True Neverclick once. Then I didn't do it again and lost my data when I cleared my browser.

20/12/2013 Christmas is here update was finally released after six or so weeks without an update :3
Been running this nonstop pretty much since I started. It took me at least two months to realize I could just have this sitting on my second monitor to easily spot the golden cookies while I play something fullscreen and alt+tab them <__<. I've reseted way more than three times, it started counting from one when that update was released.

There's also this new golden cookie -like reindeer that "runs" across your screen, and you have 5-10 seconds (haven't payed that much attention) to click it for a certain amount of cookies, seems to be about 1-2 minutes worth of cookies, more if you have 7x active. There seems to be 3 achievements that you get by clicking x amount of them, 1/50/?.

Out of my 8,5k golden cookie clicks only 20 or so have been 777x clicking power (seriously), and now I had two 7x production + 777x clicking power stacked within 10 minutes. Lucky much.

I wonder how many have actually got the black cat's paw achievement without cookie monster or other cheats. Not sure if I should be proud or sad about still playing this legit.

I had a lot of cookies and then I found out deleting browser cookies deletes cookie clicker progress.
Ffs I've wasted over half a year not knowing that keeping 10 wrinklers up gives you a 6x CpS or something like that.
This is ridiculous. Why the hell would I keep clicking golden cookies if I can just afk with wrinklers?

Played this game for like 3 days maybe got bored of it realy fast
It started out really fun, but auto clicker ruined it for me.

Multiplier doesn't count, and the progress is lost when you reset.
With 300 cursors and grandmas it would take months to get the achievements, and you can't reset.
Way to lose a ton of heavenly chips.

For anyone who got their heavenly chips reset and was asked how many you had before, SAVE after you typethe amount. If you close the browser window after typing the amount and not saving, you're fucked. It won't ask you again.
If you remember the amount of cookies, but not the amount of heavenly chips, use the calculator here: http://cookieclicker.wikia.com/wiki/Heavenly_Chips. Or if you import a saved game, it will give them back.

Wrote a script for it so i dont do anything for it, the script automatically clicks cookies/golden cookies and calculates what building to get next (and gets that building). It doesnt have upgrade support though but I just buy every upgrade when I reset

right now: over 1,000,000,000 cookies, +3,500,000 CpS, 1 Antimatter condenser, 10 time machines, 20 portals, 30 labs, 50 shipments/mines/factories, 60 farms, 100 cursors/grandmas, several upgrades, etc. how long does it takes to you to achieve billions of cookies for the last 2 items?
i gave up agn, yeh i played when cookie clicker was still in that 0.1, around the time time machines just came out and upgrades didnt exist, currently ive moved onto wall destroyer all though my progress is slow due to my ocd order in the way i buy items
