Watery eyes when playing osu!

So before the time I started to use glasses I could pretty much play osu! without any major problems (besides hand and wrist pain ofc), but when I started to use prescription glasses, I absolutely HAD to put the glasses on to play osu! because of the focus on the screen (but any other activity/game on my PC didn't affect me as much)

But now, my eyes start to hurt and get watery even when I'm using glasses (and not even after a long time, it's really fast to happen). Someone that uses glasses and/or that got in the same situation, can you give me some hint?

First: Strain and pain is two different thing. It's not good to have pain while playing osu, it can lead to serious hand injury.

Main topic: The main reason for watery eyes is that you don't blink your eyes much.
You can try few things
  1. Try lowering the brightness
  2. Sit far from the monitor (the gape between your monitor and face should be same as your hand length)
  3. take breaks in your session
Abraker please move this to G&R or the host will not get any help here

There's this setting in the graphics section that lowers the amount of blue light (in the PC settings not the osu! settings). Try that.

mofos sweating so hard in osu that his eyes are starting to sweat as well

Tbh it's nothing to worry about, but it can be linked to how long you look at screens

it might be because of that thing at the middle of the glasses that touches your eye thats triggering it, and since you cant adjust it while gameplay, it might be triggering your tear glands and it might just be that

In my experience, it's just a tired eyes. I mean, if you look at the screen like 24/7 high chance it will get watery.

Bonus points if you contracted eye strain as well, that does clearly makes your eyes watery even when not playing osu

That's just your eyes being dried out from staring at a computer screen too much.

You can try wearing a pair of blue light glasses but I also recommend combining them with other methods like using eye drops and switching your computer screen into "night light" mode.

Windows 10 have night light already built in, but if you don't use windows 10 or don't have it, you can always download a 3rd party software that does the same thing.
