As some of you may know, for quite some time, I've been really interested in doing a podcast. I've gotten weekly segments for the podcast planned out and the main segment for our first episode is prepared as well. I already have my equipment available for this project, but there are still so many things missing.
One of them is more people. A simple one-man podcast is never fun. So I'm in need of people who are interested in doing this podcast as well. This project shouldn't require much commitment other than an hour or so every week. The days and times we will record will be decided at a later date. I ask that when recording that you can find a "not so crappy" microphone, and if possible, a professional one. I basically ask that your requirements are
1. Have a microphone that can pick yourself up (very) clearly and doesn't pick up so much ambience in the backround.
2. Have about an hour every week available to record.
3. Have Skype
Interested? Go ahead and send me a PM. Would be nice if I can also get a sound file of your voice, but don't freak out at all if you don't have one.
My second concern is how I'm going to launch the podcast. It would seem best to do it through a website. (Hell...isn't that the only way?) From there, we can try and get it available for subscribe on iTunes and Zune. But I have no experience with making a website or finding means of getting this podcast a foundation. If anyone has advice on this, by all means please let me know.
