I could have sworn there was a topic about this but I've been searching for 10 minutes now and cannot find one.

I have been interested in mapping some very complex timed songs and I've been using bookmarks to indicate places where the timing shifts measure. This is fine for that purpose, but it gets more complicated when I have more than one reason I want to bookmark something. If I make a timing change that I want to have checked by someone, it's not really helpful to use blue bookmarks for both indicating where the beat shifts and where I want to remember changes to the timing. I want to use different bookmark colors for different marks in the song.

That way I can easily identify locations where I've made changes in the timeline, where the measure changes, as well as start a collab with different colored parts for the same song if I wanted to. This should be added just for the collab potential alone.

How it could work?

The easiest way I can think of is to use hotkeys to open a color dialog that affects the nearest bookmark.

I knew it. I searched bookmark and editor and this didn't come up! Thanks for finding it!

Edit: I think i'm just going to put that idea to rest since it's several years old.
